Professor Park Jin Kyoon received the Shim Sang-chul Academic Award from the Korean Chemical Society in April 2009. Sim Sang-cheol's Academic Award is awarded to scholars who contributed greatly to the development of the organic chemistry field and subcommittee by publishing outstanding papers related to organic chemistry
